Nestled on the shores of Ladybower Reservoir in the heart of the Peak District National Park, The Ladybower Inn has long been a place for walkers, explorers, cyclists and travellers to rest, refuel and take in one of the most iconic views in the country.
For owner Tom Lawson, however, The Ladybower Inn means something more.
For years, Tom drove past the pub on his daily commute, looking out across the reservoir and towards Winn Hill, often thinking about the potential the site held. Whilst others saw a traditional country inn, he saw the opportunity to create something truly special — a destination built around genuine hospitality, great food, comfortable accommodation and unforgettable experiences in one of Britain’s most beautiful landscapes.
That vision became reality when The Ladybower Inn joined the growing LawsOn Hospitality family.
Today, we continue to invest in the inn, our team and the guest experience. Whether you’re joining us for a pint after a walk, a weekend exploring the Peak District, a family meal, or simply to take in the views across the reservoir, our goal remains the same: to offer warm hospitality and create lasting memories.
As we look to the future, our ambition is to build on everything that makes The Ladybower Inn unique whilst introducing new experiences, events and opportunities for guests to gather, celebrate and explore.
