The £1,695 base package already includes exclusive use of the pub and all seven bedrooms. It also includes dinner, breakfast and a packed lunch for your first 7 guests.
If more people are staying, simply add £75 per person for guests 8–18. That £75 covers their dinner, breakfast and packed lunch. There is no additional venue or bedroom hire charge.

The base stays the same. You only add £75 for each guest above 7, up to the Inn's normal maximum of 18 overnight guests.

How do we fit up to 18 guests into the 7 bedrooms?
The £1,695 starting price assumes one guest in each of the seven bedrooms. If more people are coming, they simply share the rooms using the normal bed configuration below.

So with 7 guests, everyone can have a room to themselves. Guests 8–12 can be added by sharing the Double, Superior Double and Twin rooms. The two Family Rooms then provide the additional beds needed to take the group up to the full 18-guest capacity.

Consecutive additional nights are £1,185 for the pub, all seven bedrooms and meals for the first 7 guests. If your group is larger than 7, guests 8–18 remain £75 per person, per night.
Direct booking only. Available Sunday–Wednesday nights. Monday–Wednesday private use begins from 4pm. Sunday private use begins after the normal Sunday public service. Drinks from the bar are charged separately.

The staffed Sunday–Wednesday package is our clearest exclusive-use offer, but private hire does not always mean taking over the whole building. We can also look at smaller group dining, semi-private arrangements or full-venue events on our normal trading days.
For larger or more valuable bookings, we prefer to talk through the occasion properly rather than force you into a generic package.

When we are normally trading, exclusivity has to replace the day we give up.
Our full exclusive-use prices reflect the value of closing the Inn to normal public trade, alongside the staffing and planning required for a private event.
Thursday & Friday
Full Venue Exclusive Use
From £3,000
A starting minimum event value for taking the Inn privately on a normal Thursday or Friday. The final quote depends on timings, food, bedrooms, staffing and the format of the occasion.
Saturday
Prime-Day Exclusive Use
From £5,000
Saturday is one of our busiest trading days, so full private hire is priced to reflect the public food, drink and bedroom business we are giving up to make the Inn exclusively yours.

Sunday is an important public trading day, including lunch service. Full daytime exclusivity is therefore considered individually according to the date and plans.
These are minimum event values, not simply room-hire fees.
Food, accommodation and agreed hospitality can form part of the overall event value.
Bar arrangements and any additional requirements are confirmed in the individual proposal.
Smaller or semi-private gatherings do not automatically require full-venue exclusivity.

Sunday evening to Wednesday gives us the freedom to offer something genuinely special: the whole Inn, staffed exclusively for your group, at a price that would not be possible on our busiest trading days.

Ladybower has three Double Rooms, one Superior Double, one Twin and two Family Rooms, with standard accommodation for up to 18 guests across all seven bedrooms.
For private events, bedrooms can form part of the quote where required. For the Hire Your Own Pub package, all seven bedrooms are included from the start.

Every exclusive event is ultimately confirmed by direct proposal, so contact us if your plans do not fit neatly into the examples below.
What does “from £3,000” or “from £5,000” mean?
It is the starting minimum event value for full exclusive use on those trading days, rather than a simple empty-room hire charge. Your individual quote can incorporate agreed food, bedrooms and hospitality, with the final value depending on the event.
Why is Saturday more expensive?
Saturday is one of Ladybower's strongest normal trading days. Exclusive use means closing the Inn to the public and giving the venue entirely to one group, so the minimum value has to reflect the business displaced.
Can we hire only part of the pub?
Yes. Smaller and semi-private arrangements can be discussed and do not automatically carry the full exclusive-use minimum.
What exactly does the £1,695 package include?
£1,695 gives your group exclusive use of the pub, all seven bedrooms, complimentary parking and a Ladybower host during the key service periods. Dinner, breakfast and a packed lunch are included for 7 guests. Bar drinks are charged separately.
What if there are more than 7 of us?
The £1,695 starting price assumes one guest in each of the seven bedrooms. Extra guests simply share the existing rooms: the three Doubles, Superior Double and Twin can each accommodate a second guest, while the two Family Rooms sleep up to four each using one double bed and two singles. This takes the Inn to a maximum of 18 overnight guests. Guests 8–18 add £75 per person for dinner, breakfast and packed lunch only — there is no additional venue or bedroom hire charge.
Can we book a stag or hen celebration?
Stag and hen stays can be considered on an exclusive-use basis. The nature of the group must be declared in advance and every booking remains subject to availability and venue approval.
Can private events happen outside normal opening days?
Yes. That is the basis of the Hire Your Own Pub package. Other pre-arranged events outside normal trading hours can also be considered depending on staffing and the nature of the event.
